The Lady Tiger softball team hosted Meadville Friday. Brashear got off to a rocky start, with Meadville taking a 6-0 lead before the Tigers scored 5 in the bottom of the 2nd to pull within 1 at 6-5. Brashear scored 3 in the 4th to tie the game at 8-8 and scored 2 more in the 6th to take a 10-8 lead. Meadville bounced right back with a pair of runs in the top of the 7th to tie the game 10-10, but Brashear pitcher Averi Acton helped herself with the bat and drove in a run in the bottom of the 7th for an 11-10 walkoff win. Averi Acton had 3 doubles for Brashear, Hannah Reeves and Alexa Higgins each had a double and a single, and Tanna Garlock, Hannah Grissom, and Callie Althide also had hits. Acton got the start on the mound.
